We put the Party in Participation

He [Taylor] has proved an important point: done well, community outreach isn’t a project, it’s a party. And that’s something to excite even the sternest of operatic purists.

We have a great track record of producing learning and participation activities. We've worked at the BBC Proms, BBC Radio 3, with the BBC Performing Groups, English National Opera and the Pleasance Theatre Trust, to name a few.

All of our Classical Mayhem entertainments come with optional participation activities. Before our interactive film presentations we give very interesting talks about the experience the audience is about to have. A little context makes the event a lot more interesting we find.

Our work for families and children comes with pre-event workshops or learning programmes. We've done workshops in many schools around the country. In summer 2014, as we presented Decomposed at the Edinburgh Fringe in association with the Pleasance Theatre Trust, we took our workshops into schools and prisons. We have presented concerts with Symphony Orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra and the Malta Philharmonic.
